His background includes senior operational incident-lead roles within the UK’s largest industrial fire department, leading major-incident response and fire-protection strategy development. Kevin’s work sits at the intersection of engineering, governance, and emergency response—helping organizations align standards, assurance, and operational capability so systems perform under pressure. Brad J. Byczynski brings over four decades of global experience in emergency response, crisis management, and fire protection across the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors, alongside 30 years of municipal fire service culminating in senior chief officer leadership. A degreed professional holding Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations, Brad has led thousands of complex emergency responses, including serving as Incident Commander for bp’s Deepwater Horizon response. He has developed global corporate standards, training, exercising, and competency programs spanning industrial fire, oil spill response, and incident management, including leadership of international incident deployment teams. Brad partners with executives, business leaders, and government stakeholders to strengthen crisis response, business continuity, and organizational readiness, while applying pragmatic, risk-based fire prevention and protection solutions across high-hazard environments. He currently serves as U.S. Liaison for LASTFIRE.
